Get hands-on with Neanderthal stone technology and test your knowledge of ancient DNA.

As part of the new special exhibition, Neanderthal, volunteers at two interactive stations will help visitors challenge outdated myths about our ancient cousins. First, get hands-on with stone tools as you learn more about the daily lives of Neanderthals, as well as the work of Canadian geologist and paleontologist, Henri-Marc Ami. Then, test your Neanderthal knowledge in a volunteer-led trivia game, and learn more about the genetic relationship between Neanderthals and Homo sapiens.

Schedule subject to change without notice.
