History Night With a Visionary Photographer

Plan Your Visit

Our History Night series continues! Enjoy a special evening with Museum experts as you explore the exhibition Notman, Visionary Photographer.

Join the curatorial team for Notman, Visionary Photographer and other experts to explore Canada through the eyes of a photographic master. Photographer William Notman (1826–1891) earned an international reputation from his Montréal studio, where his cutting-edge photographic techniques captured an era.

Mingle with curators, experts and other museum enthusiasts while enjoying cocktails and appetizers. Then, explore the exhibition and step into our Notman-inspired portrait studio to try your hand at some of his techniques.

As part of our ongoing History Night series, this event is free of charge, and includes appetizers and a cash bar.
