Celebrate Canada Day
June 30, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (outdoor activities continue until 10 p.m.)
July 1, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. (outdoor activities continue until midnight)
July 2, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (outdoor activities until 6 p.m.)
The Canadian Museum of History is definitely the place to be during the Canada Day weekend. As one of three Capital Region official Canada Day sites, the Museum will feature indoor and outdoor live entertainment and activities for the entire family, including crafts, games, performances, inflatable structures, and — to finish off July 1 in style — a spectacular evening fireworks display set to music.
Be part of our historic mosaic! Snap a selfie, upload it to Twitter or Instagram using #MyCountryMyMuseum. You can also print a souvenir photo at the Museum.
GETTING TO THE MUSEUM ON JULY 1
Some roads and bridges will be closed, there will be no parking at the Museum and parking near the Museum will be limited. Public transportation is recommended.
High volumes and normal security measures may slow entrance to the Museum on Canada Day.
