Celebrate the birth of contemporary Canadian cuisine at Expo 67 with a beer tasting and four-course dinner.

Many Canadians first experienced international fast food at Montréal’s iconic Expo 67. Food trucks featured Cuban, Indian, Japanese and Austrian cuisines, delighting visitors with new taste experiences and international beverages. Food writers also pinpoint this moment as the birth of contemporary Canadian cuisine. Join historian Laura Sanchini for an exciting evening of Expo 67 memories, as she presents highlights from this section of the Canadian History Hall. The chef will explore the flavours of the time with a four-course dinner, while world-renowned (and local) sommelier Véronique Rivest pairs the menu with a stellar selection of international and Québécois beers.

This event includes a visit to the Canadian History Hall, a four-course tasting menu, four international beer pairings and four Québécois beer pairings.
