- Additional Information This bird house is an example of a rather unusual way of building log houses in Quebec. The framing logs are arranged vertically and the roof logs go up in the direction of the slope, so that the roof logs extend up from those of the building. The rather rough construction of this house is somewhat enhanced by touches of blue paint on the perch and the ends of the logs.
