- Additional Information Around 1960 Fred Moulding began to make models of the tools and farm equipment that had been so much a part of his early working life. The prairie farmer's excellent memory for detail enabled him to recreate in miniature the activities and settings of the various kinds of work essential to the farming community. Mr. Moulding created the hog-butchering scene "to show the young people what life was like."
