Additional Information
Pitcher
Adam Bierenstihl occasionally used green as a highlight in his glazes, and the form of the green sprig on the front of this pitcher allows us to attribute this one to him. Also, the light brown splashes in the glaze are typical of Bierenstihl's work. Other potters used similar brown splashes, but the shades and concentrations of brown varied widely.
