Jacques Guimont, a historian and archaeologist, is
the author of La Petite-Ferme du cap Tourmente, published by
Septentrion in 1996. He has also worked on other important archaeological
sites in Quebec, including Place Royale, Cartier-Brébeuf park and the
Nouvelles Casernes in Quebec City, Pointe-à-Callière in
Montreal, Grosse-Île and the Mingan archipelago on the Saint Lawrence.
