The Hull-2 Power Plant
At the Chaudière Falls

The Gatineau Power Company built this plant in 1912-1913, in what was then a modern architectural style for an industrial building. Its turbines were designed and manufactured in Germany; but, as the German installers were imprisoned during the First World War, the plant did not start functioning until 1920.
