By early 1986, Comstock had shut down its sheet-metal plant and began contracting out its sheet-metal needs. After almost seventeen years with Comstock, Chris decided to return to work with his former boss, Bill Sharp, who had opened a new shop, Elmvale Metal Products, where he worked on projects like the Pickering Civic Centre.
