Dr. Eileen Schuller of McMaster University, an official editor of the Scrolls, explored passages from the Dead Sea Scrolls that shed light on women and their lives.

Dr. Schuller, one of the world's foremost authorities on the Dead Sea Scrolls, has a Ph.D. in Near East Languages and Civilizations from Harvard University and has been involved in editing and publishing the Dead Sea Scrolls since the early 1980s. In recent years, her research and graduate teaching have been in the area of Judaism in the Second Temple period, with a special focus on the Dead Sea Scrolls and topics related to women. In her presentation, Dr. Schuller will explore passages from the Dead Sea Scrolls that shed light on women and their lives.
