Who Made This Pot?

Late Woodland Period ceramics found in the Ottawa Valley often resemble those of the Iroquoian of southern Ontario. The challenge for archaeologists is to identify the makers of the containers. Did an Algonquin obtain the pot on display here from the Iroquoian or simply imitate Iroquoian pottery? Was the pot left behind by a Iroquoian traveller? Further research is needed to answer these questions.
