This Ojibwe artist from Temagami Reserve, on Bear Island, Ontario draws his inspirations by the ambition to find his mother. He is known as part of the Woodland Indian painters, a native art movement that began in the early nineteen-sixties and has since become one of the important art schools in Canada.
