The Mercury Series, launched by the Canadian Museum of History in 1972, transformed academic publishing with its rapid dissemination of research in archaeology, ethnology, and history. Evolving with technology, it now provides full-color, high-resolution publications in print and electronic formats, boasting over 540 volumes and contributions from Indigenous authors.
