Mary Morris quilt

This bed cover was made in 1825 by Mary Morris of Elgin, Leeds County, Upper Canada (Ontario). Mary was said to have had a physical disability that prevented her from walking, and she became a highly skilled needle worker at an early age. She made this quilt at age 14.
