This plane was made in France between 1800 and 1850. It is part of a collection of some 850 hand tools amassed by Arthur Pascal, president of J. Pascal Hardware Co. This important collection was once displayed at Pascal’s Montréal store. In 1988, he donated the collection to the Museum.
