Carriage-maker Félix Gauthier of Trois-Rivières built this magnificent three-horse hearse in 1898 for his funeral parlour, Gauthier et Fils. An important piece of Quebec sculpture, this hearse is a rare example of one that has retained most of its original, ornately carved decorations.
