Hockey: More than just a game!
The Museum has just opened the Hockey exhibition, a dynamic, interactive journey through the history of hockey in Canada. Through iconic artifacts, video clips of great hockey moments, photos, memorabilia, hockey-related songs and movies, and more, the exhibition presents our fascination for this very Canadian sport.
In this video, Dr. Jenny Ellison, Curator of Sport and Leisure explains why the Museum decided to present an exhibition entirely dedicated to Canada’s favourite sport and shares her thoughts on the artifact that she personally finds most evocative.
Hockey is presented at the Canadian Museum of History until October 9, 2017.
