The Canadian Museum of Civilization’s Curator of Western Canadian Archaeology Dr. Terence Clark will be on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast digging this summer. The Shíshálh Archaeological Research Project blog will document the trials and tribulations of his crew as they work to uncover hidden aspects of the ancient past. This year they will be digging a shell midden site located near Sechelt, BC. Check back often to see photos, videos and notes from the field.

Canadian Museum of Civilization archaeologist Matthew Betts is digging in Nova Scotia again this summer, and he’s posting his field notes online! Visit the project blog for pictures, comments, and thoughts from Dr. Betts, his colleagues, and students as they dig a large prehistoric shell midden in Port Joli.
