The place to be!

Gatineau, Quebec, February 10, 2011— The Valentine’s Gala of the Canadian Museum of Civilization and the Canadian War Museum, presented by Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, is sold out!

More than 400 guests will gather in the impressive Grand Hall of the Museum of Civilization on Saturday evening to have dinner, dance and raise funds for a worthy cause: our children.

Guests at the upcoming gala will enjoy cocktails followed by a four-course feast prepared by Executive Chef Michael Daniels. They also will enjoy a live musical performance by cultural phenomenon Gregory Charles and several local entertainers.

All proceeds of this elegant event will go to the Youth Education Fund for high-quality children’s and youth programming at the Canadian Museum of Civilization and its sister institution, the Canadian War Museum.

Thousands of young people, from preschoolers to adolescents, participate every year in public and educational programs at the War Museum and the Museum of Civilization. These include hands-on activities and games, creative workshops, performing arts, tours and special events that bring the Museums’ themes and artifacts to life.
