Unique opportunity to talk with Museum curator about Canadian crafts

Gatineau, Quebec, January 3, 2006 – Join the Canadian Museum of Civilization’s Curator of Canadian Crafts, Decorative Arts and Design, Alan Elder, for a special visit of the exhibition UNIQUE! 30 Years of Outstanding Crafts on Saturday, January 13. Participants will have the opportunity to discover Canada’s most striking, original and best-made handcrafted objects, followed by coffee and discussion with Mr. Elder.

UNIQUE! features 120 objects handmade by 70 of the country’s most accomplished and imaginative craftspeople. This exhibition is on until August 5, 2007.
