Gatineau, Quebec, December, 4, 2013 — The Canadian Museum of Civilization’s Christmas Market is back! The festive and stress-free setting of the Christmas Market is the ideal place to do all of your holiday gift-shopping. And, with some 50 exhibitors participating, you are sure to find the perfect gifts.

Meet local vendors, discover delicious regional products and examine unique handmade objects while experiencing the creativity and enthusiasm that drives area artisans. You’ll find fine regional foods such as breads, cheeses, organic produce and artisanal spirits as well as handcrafted jewellery, fashion accessories and more.

Enjoy live music by young musicians from the Conservatoire de musique de Gatineau, Dickens carolers in period costume, folksongs by La Ridaine, and clowning around by the Sisters of Christmas. Children will have the chance to meet someone very special, coming directly from the North Pole for the occasion: Santa Claus has promised to visit on December 7 and 8. All in all, it’s the perfect place for holiday shopping.
