Gatineau, Quebec, June 8, 2007 — Find out about the history of the Rideau Canal in an interesting Coffee and Conversation at the Canadian Museum of Civilization on June 17. Recently named the world’s largest skating rink, join award-wining journalist Ron Corbett to discover more about this world-renowned site.
 
The Rideau Canal played an important role in the making of Canada as a nation. To commemorate the 175th anniversary of this Canadian landmark, The Ottawa Citizen‘s Ron Corbett and Ottawa-based photographer John McQuarrie published The Rideau Canal Then and Now.
