 For immediate release

Gatineau, Quebec, May 13, 2015 — The Canadian Museum of History’s IMAX®    Theatre invites you to get up close and personal with baby lemurs and experience the rhythm of Madagascar on May 16 and 17.

This weekend only, with the purchase of a ticket to see the film Island of Lemurs: Madagascar 3D, showing between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., you can join us for some special free activities!

Come and dance your tail off with a Malagasy Zumba® workshop presented by Tsingory Dance and Music of Madagascar. Be amazed by balloon sculptor Ian Quick from Birthday Party Magic as he twists ordinary balloons into beautiful lemurs and ladybugs. You can also exercise your artistic talents by colouring your own beautiful lemurs at one of our colouring stations.

And be sure to stop by and say hello to the stars of this busy weekend, two adorable baby lemurs. Experts from Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo will be on hand to introduce you to our furry friends. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see “in person” an exceptional animal that came from halfway around the world!
