The Canadian Museum of Civilization is having a pottery party

Gatineau, Quebec, February 9, 2007 — On Sunday, February 18 join local potter Carrie Leavoy of Mud Pies Pottery for a creative, hands-on afternoon with clay at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. The workshop is held in conjunction with the exhibition Unique! 30 Years of Outstanding Crafts, presented until August 5, 2007.

Carrie has been teaching pottery for almost 10 years and continues to share her love of art and clay with others. Her work can be described as Asian-influenced, inspired by nature, earthy and solid.
