Skate into the past

Gatineau, Quebec, December 22, 2006 – The Canadian Museum of Civilization invites you for coffee and conversation about the history of skating in Canada with well-known skate collector Jean-Marie Leduc. This program is organized in conjunction with the exhibition Lace Up: Canada’s Passion for Skating, presented until April 1, 2007.

Jean-Marie Leduc, who holds the largest skate collection in Canada, will share his passion for skates. He has loaned more than 70 pairs of skates to the Museum for the Lace Up exhibition, including very early models.
