An Evening with Jean Lemire,
Canada’s Most Famous Modern Explorer
Thursday, May 12
7 p.m. (French with simultaneous translation)
Theatre
Award-winning filmmaker and environmental biologist Jean Lemire describes some of his many expeditions, including a 430-day sojourn in the Antarctic. Tickets are on sale now. In advance $20; $18 for Museum Members, students and seniors; $25 on the day of the event. Tickets are available at the Museum Box Office, or by calling 819 776-7000 (service charges apply).


The Amazing Crew of the Canadian Arctic Expedition
Until March 31, 2012

Through our Volunteer Interpreter Program, visitors will discover the real-life hardships and accomplishments of some of the Expedition members. They will discover five key roles: explorer, scientist, sailor, hunter and seamstress, and learn about the tools of their trade, the value of their expert contributions and their personal stories.
