The Museum’s theatre company, Dramamuse, invites you to help bring history to life—and life to history—by interacting with historical characters within the stunning environment of Canada Hall. A Taste of Greece

Join us for an exciting culinary journey around the world! These cooking experiences are as much fun to make as they are to eat, so make sure to register early!  Sign up at the Children’s Museum Embassy one hour before the workshop. Maximum of 25 participants.

 

A Sunday in Crete

Voyage to the island of Crete! Learn how to prepare some authentic, healthy snacks, take part in a dance performance, listen to some ancient myths and make your own Crete-style clay pot to take home. Presented in partnership with the Embassy of Greece and the Hellenic School of Ottawa.

The Wings of Icarus

Join our storyteller for a journey back in time and listen to one of Greece’s most famous mythological stories. Embark on an adventure with Icarus and Daedalus and discover what happened on the island of Crete. Space is limited.

Creative Art-Making

Studio
Jump-start your imagination and stretch your creative thinking skills with our drop-in workshops. The theme for the whole month of May is Flower Power! Activities for ages 5 and up.
