River Park
Meet Nick Raina who has spent years developing ideas about how ancient Egyptians moved huge stones to build the pyramids. Nick will invite you to test his technique using a 500 lb boulder and rope.
This activity is presented in conjunction with the exhibition
Tombs of Eternity: Ancient Egypt and the Afterlife.

Journey back in time to Ancient Egypt with a performance by Mushfiq Arts Company. Presented in conjunction with the exhibition

Mythic Shadow Creatures
Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12
1 to 2 p.m.
Grand Hall
Stories of fearsome and friendly beings are told in performances of Indonesian-style dance and shadow puppetry. Shadow puppet workshops run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Presented in partnership with the Embassy of Indonesia
and in conjunction with the exhibition
Mythic Beasts: Dragons, Unicorns and Mermaids.

No Power Greater will plunge you into the middle of the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike. Meet strike leader Mrs. Helen Armstrong and three young men with very different opinions on the strike. Duration: 25 minutes.
