Chill-Out Chalet—Come in from the Cold!
Monday, February 21

David M. Stewart Salon and Grand Hall
Come in from the cold and enjoy our cozy chalet setting. We’ll put you in the mood for winter nostalgia with activities for everyone. Sit back and relax as you fashion some “woolly” crafts, or try your hand at oversized versions of classic games. Listen to tall tales of winters gone by and chat with historical characters from the past.

Tafelmusik Go for Baroque on Family Day

Grand Hall
This special family concert by the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra introduces baroque music and baroque instruments to visitors of all ages. With music by Lully, Fasch, Vivaldi, J. S. Bach and C. P. E. Bach, and some entertaining and educational commentary, this concert is a great way to share the magic of music with young visitors. Tafelmusik has been celebrated at venues around the world for its delightful vitality and richness of sound, and for the Orchestra’s ability to make the music of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries fresh and surprising. In partnership with the Ottawa Chamber Music Society and the National Capital Commission.
