NEXT WEEK
at the Canadian Museum of Civilization
April 19 to 26, 2010

Activities are free with Museum admission unless otherwise indicated.

The Museum: Unplugged!
 Thursday, April 22
7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Unplug from the world outside and join us at the Canadian Museum of Civilization for a musical Earth Day event, in collaboration with the Ottawa Folk Festival. Be there when the lights go down in the Museum, and enjoy a night of eco-chic social crafting and intimate acoustic entertainment with Julien Lelièvre, Jill Zmud, Michel Sauvé, Ana Miura with Fred Guignon, and Louis-Philippe Robillard. This amazing planet deserves a celebration, and the Museum’s first-ever social crafting night promises to be a blast!

Earth Week
April 24 and 25
 10:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Workshop
Come celebrate the Earth in all its splendour as we create with natural materials. Let nature be your inspiration as you build a one-of-a-kind sculpture using clay. Create an animal habitat to wear on your head and take home, and be sure to leave your special Earth Day message as part of our “Forest of Voices” display.
