Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their jewellery and adornments. Come design and create your very own Egyptian-themed jewellery.


Weaving a Vision for the Earth

River View Salon
Join special guest Thoma Ewen to crate a tapestry inspired by Earth Day. Write your visions, your messages and wishes for Earth and weave them into a communal work of art. Families can also create a personal mini-tapestry to take home.

Hopping into Easter

Egg-spress yourself this Easter! Make a delicious chocolate egg with the help of our guest from L’Artisan du Dessert. Decorate your own colourful
Easter egg, then package it all into an egg-ceptional treat. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny!



The Golden Egg Hunt
Monday, April 13
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Easter Bunny has hidden 12 Golden Eggs throughout the Museum. Look high and low, and if you find them all, you can win a special Easter treat!
Pick up an official egg-hunt checklist at the Travel Bureau.


Earth Day
Just for You and Your Preschooler (Ages 5 and under)

9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Calling all budding environmentalists! Join us for our Earth Day celebrations and create recycled art, make music with junk and design a reusable shopping bag.

Come be inspired to think GREEN! Use recycled materials to design a musical instrument, and personalize a reusable shopping bag. Don’t forget to drop by the
Studio to create awesome stamp art using reusable household objects.
