Just for You and Your Preschooler — Earth Day

Friday, April 16
9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Workshop
There’s plenty of green fun for everyone as we come together to celebrate our planet! Find out how to turn trash into treasure that you can reuse. Get messy in the Studio as you help us to create a giant mural, using your hands and feet to paint with clay. Make a festive hat to celebrate Earth’s special day by using recycled materials, and really get into the party mood as you dance to the beats of Junkyard Symphony in the Theatre at 10, 10:30, 11 and 11:30 a.m.

Earth Week
April 17 and 18
10:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Workshop
Come celebrate the Earth in all its splendour as we create with natural materials. Let nature be your inspiration as you build a one-of-a-kind sculpture using clay. Create an animal habitat to wear on your head and take home, and be sure to leave your special Earth Day message as part of our “Forest of Voices” display.
