The Hansen-Bruni Mural

100 Laurier St., Gatineau, Quebec

Commissioned in 1957 by the British American Oil Company for the foyer of its Montreal building, this four-storey mural, designed by Thor Hansen and painted by Umberto Bruni,
depicts the growth of Quebec.
The St. Lawrence Cement Company, which subsequently owned the building, has generously offered the mural to the Canadian Museum of Civilization.
The Mural’s painter, Umberto Bruni, will be available for interviews.
