Kim Barlow unloads her Luckyburden at the Canadian Museum of Civilization

Gatineau, Quebec, January 21, 2008 – On January 31, the Canadian Museum of Civilization will host singer-songwriter Kim Barlow’s vision of the Great White North, in a performance that highlights her own uniquely independent voice.

The Museum’s Theatre will be the setting for Luckyburden, Kim Barlow’s multimedia concert of music and film revolving around work, love and mixed blessings in Keno City, a Yukon mining town. Born in Montréal, raised in Atlantic Canada and based in the Yukon, the Juno-nominated Barlow has a strongly Canadian perspective and voice.
