Karaoke and crafts abound at the Canadian Postal Museum

Gatineau, Quebec, March 29, 2007 — From April 6 through 9, come to the Canadian Postal Museum, located inside the Canadian Museum of Civilization, to have some karaoke fun and make some cool crafts. You will be able to sing some popular postal-themed tunes in the karaoke booth that is part of the Post Goes Pop exhibition, and will also create a personalized pin, inspired by the catchy popular culture phrases found inside the exhibition.

This activity is organized in conjunction with The Post Goes Pop, the newest Canadian Postal Museum exhibition on display until January 6, 2008. This exhibition depicts the role played by the postal service in everyday life, and shows how much postal imagery, most often drawn from the past, shows up everywhere in popular culture.
