Happy Birthday Ottawa!

Happy Birthday Ottawa!

Gatineau, Quebec, May 11, 2007 — The City of Ottawa is turning 150 this year — even older than all the grownups! This Victoria Day weekend, get in on the birthday fun with Canada Is For Kids, a lively concert at the Canadian Children’s Museum. You won’t want to miss award-winning kids’ entertainer Michael Mitchell as he sings songs and tells stories about our Canadian heritage.

You can catch Canada Is For Kids at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on May 19, 20 and 21. You’ll have a great time singing along, tapping your toes and learning fun facts about our country as you celebrate Ottawa’s special birthday with us at the Canadian Children’s Museum, located inside the Canadian Museum of Civilization.
