Enjoy Middle Eastern Rhythms at the Canadian Museum of Civilization

Gatineau, Quebec, June 20, 2006 — Let yourself be swept away by rhythms from the Mideast during a special musical performance at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. Come in and enjoy a visit of our latest exhibition, PETRA: Lost City of Stone, and take in the rhythmic sounds of traditional Middle Eastern instruments such as the oud, a pear-shaped stringed instrument, the tablah, a popular hand drum, and the kalem, a drum similar to a conga.
