Gatineau, Quebec, October 6, 2006 – In conjunction with the new exhibition PETRA: Lost City of Stone, presented until February 18, 2007, the Canadian Museum of Civilization invites you to a Coffee & Conversation that will surely seduce your senses. Come and enjoy an exotic olfactory experience guided by biologist and chef Jean Lauriault, who will talk about the origins and uses of the spices that made Petra, a city located at the crossroads of the ancient world’s greatest trade routes, one of the most prosperous cities of the time.
