Celebrate Terra Madre Day

December 10 + 10 Ingredients = 20 years of Slow Food

Gatineau, Quebec, November 30, 2009 — In celebration of Terra Madre Day, Chef Laurier invites you to come and discover a menu created with ingredients that have not travelled farther than 100 km before arriving at your table. Presented at the Cafe du Musée at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, this menu will be among the 500 menus for Terra Madre Day registered worldwide by the Slow Food organization.

This unique menu will feature such ingredients as boar sausage from the ParToutatis farm, Vennes farm lamb’s liver, cranberries from the Vallée des Canneberges in Venosta, grain-fed turkey from Saveurs des Monts and Pontiac speckled trout.

Let’s celebrate with local produce!
