Canadians’ favourite pastime

Gatineau, Quebec, February 8, 2007 — On February 16, join Canadian Museum of Civilization curator Bianca Gendreau for a special visit of the Lace-Up: Canada’s Passion for Skating exhibition, presented until April 1, 2007. As you tour the exhibition, you will learn about the history of skating in Canada. After the tour, enjoy a cup of coffee and the opportunity to talk with Ms. Gendreau about the exhibition. Among all the sports that have become part of the Canadian cultural landscape, skating occupies a dominant place; come and find out why!
