Gatineau, Quebec, February 28, 2007 — Join luthier Guy Harrison on March 8 and 15 in the Grand Hall of the Canadian Museum of Civilization and take part in a demonstration on violin making. Harrison is dedicated to producing the finest sounding violins, violas and cellos. His instruments are inspired by the best baroque traditions but are designed for modern players, including performers in Canada, Europe, the United States and Australia.

This activity is presented in conjunction with Unique! 30 Years of Outstanding Crafts. This temporary exhibition displays some of Canada’s most stunning and original handcrafted pieces, from elegant furniture to delicate glassware, made by the country’s most accomplished and creative craftspeople. Unique! is presented until August 5, 2007
