A jazzy afternoon at the Canadian Museum of Civilization

Gatineau, Quebec, December 7, 2006 – Join local vocalist Christine Fagan on Sunday, December 17 as she performs seasonal jazz songs in the Canadian Museum of Civilization’s Grand Hall. Accompanied by a pianist and a bassist, Fagan will help get you into the holiday season’s rhythms and jazz-up your afternoon.

Christine Fagan has performed jazz and cabaret music with various bands in the Ottawa area for ten years. She is rapidly developing a style of her own, influenced by singers like Carmen McRae, Jeanne Lee, Annie Ross, Tiziana Ghilioni, Jonie Mitchell and Rickie Lee Jones. Fagan has performed at Café Paradiso, Empire Grill and Pickwick’s Pub where she has shared stages with Ottawa jazz luminaries such as John Geggie, Mark Ferguson and Roddy Ellias.
