Museum of History offers free holiday concert by Chorale De La Salle and Groupe Allegro

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

For immediate release

Gatineau, Quebec, December 17, 2015 — The Canadian Museum of History invites members of the public to bring their lunch to the Grand Hall and enjoy a free holiday performance by Chorale De La Salle and École élémentaire publique Séraphin-Marion’s Groupe Allegro.

These young performers have recently become known throughout the world for their rendition of the traditional Arabic song Tala’ al-Badru ‘Alayna, and now the public will have an opportunity to see them perform live in the Museum’s majestic Grand Hall.

The Museum is proud to offer this free concert in celebration of the festive season. The 30-minute performance will include songs from various denominations and cultures. The two free holiday performances will take place in the Museum’s Grand Hall on Friday, December 18 at 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Admission to the concert is free. Regular Museum admission applies to those who wish to visit the rest of the Museum.
