Gatineau, Quebec, January 22, 2016 — Experience an extraordinary journey into unseen worlds and hidden dimensions beyond our normal vision. Starting January 22 at the Museum of History’s IMAX® Theatre, uncover the mysteries of things too fast, too slow, too small — or simply invisible to the naked eye — with Mysteries of the Unseen World.

Presented all winter long on the IMAX® Dome, Mysteries of the Unseen World is an invitation to explore the vastness of the microscopic world hiding right before our eyes. Discover the minuscule life forms that inhabit the air we breathe and colonize our bodies, and all that bustles around us at every passing nanosecond.

Mysteries of the Unseen World uses innovative high-speed and time-lapse photography, electron microscopy and nanotechnology to transport audiences to an enthralling secret world of nature, events and breathtaking phenomena that would be otherwise imperceptible.

You will enter a tiny cosmos that was once the exclusive domain of scientists. Watch these infinitely spectacular and staggering phenomena with amazement, from the fantastic flight of the dragonfly to the invisible beams of light that surround us. Witness some of the secrets hiding in this mysterious world and ignite a newfound appreciation for the wonders of science.

Mysteries of the Unseen World is an original production by National Geographic Studios and Day’s End Pictures, narrated by Forest Whitaker. The film has been rated G and has a run time of 40 minutes.
