Introduce your family to Inuit culture and learn about life in the Far North during a fun day of Arctic art, crafts, sports and storytelling.
Immerse yourself in Inuit culture while enjoying an Awesome Arctic experience! Visit the exhibition Picturing Arctic Modernity ‒ North Baffin Drawings From 1964, then learn more about Inuit culture with a craft workshop led by an Inuit artist. Test your skills at traditional Inuit games such as the One Foot High Kick or the Kneel Jump. End your afternoon with mesmerizing tales shared by Michael Arvaarluk Kusugak.
Craft workshop: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Inuit games: 1 to 3 p.m.
Storytelling: 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in English; 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. in French
