Uncorked! Wine Tasting at the Museum

Satisfy your thirst for knowledge with our wine-and-history pairing at the Museum. In each of the three exclusive evening events, a curator will guide you through one of the Museum’s fascinating galleries as you savour thematically related wines, chosen and poured by an expert sommelier, and nibble matching delicacies prepared by chef Martin De Board. It’s history like you’ve never tasted it before!

Presented in partnership with L’Amicale des Sommeliers du Québec (section Outaouais).

Raise a Glass to the Empress

Pop a Cork for Sir John A. Macdonald

Toast the tippling Tory and his convivial colleagues in Confederation at this evening in honour of 1867. Sample the types of wines and foodstuffs that Sir John used to ply the palates of premiers in a series of pre-Confederation conferences, as they noshed their way to Canadian nationhood.
