Engaging, hands-on creative play led by volunteer interpreters, sparking children’s imaginations through dress-up, role play and storytelling inspired by DreamWorks animation.

Our Volunteer Interpreter Program (VIP) adds an extra dose of imaginative play to DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition. Volunteers will lead engaging activities and live interpretation in the exhibition space, engaging children of all ages in the fantasy DreamWorks worlds of Shrek and Trolls. Volunteers will encourage visitors to invent their own Shrek-inspired tale through a game of visual cues that allows them to build their own adventures. Using images from the Shrek movies, young visitors will be able to kick-start their creativity and steer their own narrative in fun new directions. Volunteers will also be on hand in a costuming area, where young visitors can dress up as characters from Trolls. With the help of colourful outfits and accessories, children will see how clothing can be used to create characters, as they become immersed in the world of Trolls.

Schedule subject to change without notice.
