Journey of a Lifetime Theatre Performance

Plan Your Visit

Celebrate the diversity of Canada while watching Canadian immigration history come alive as Heritage Park and Quest Theatre present Journey of a Lifetime.

As we mark Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation, we look to celebrate those new Canadians who chose to make this country their home, and helped shape this great land. From as far away as Ukraine, France, Britain and Asia, they came to farm and settled in a new country.

Colonist Cars played an important role in the largest wave of immigration in Canadian history. Heritage Park Historical Village in Calgary is home to one of the oldest, and last remaining, Colonist cars in the country. Its story is a tangible reminder of the hopes, dreams and hardships of Canada’s earliest immigrants. While this 1905 wooden rail car undergoes an onsite restoration, Heritage Park and Quest Theatre are taking its story across Canada through an engaging performance, Journey of a Lifetime, presented by BMO Financial Group.
