Join our curators for 15-minute tours of some of the Museum’s most significant objects and spaces. Dig a little deeper into Canada’s past, and learn more about our heritage as curators share fascinating information on important artifacts from the national collection.

Canada History Week (July 1 to 7) provides Canadians of all ages with opportunities to learn about the events that shaped this country. The Canadian Museum of History is among the many institutions and organizations hosting activities throughout the week to encourage local communities to connect with the past.

Thursday, July 2 – Our Flag at 50 with Dr. Forrest Pass

Friday, July 3 – First Peoples Hall: An Ancient Bond with the Land with Dr. Jean- Luc Pilon

Monday, July 6 – Magna Carta with Bianca Gendreau. Space is limited to 15 people. First come, first served basis.

Tuesday, July 7 – 1867 – Rebellion and Confederation with Dr. Jean-François Lozier
